FAQs
Covid-19
Due to the impact of the current pandemic supplies have been taking longer to reach us and on occasion there have been postal delays. Typical turnaround times are 3-5 days before dispatching your order although often this is much sooner. If we are experiencing any delays - we will notify you as soon as possible.
What are our wax melts made of?
We use 100% natural soy wax. Our wax is environmentally friendly, cruelty free and vegan. By using soy wax you are creating a cleaner burn with no toxins or black soot being released - better for you and the world we live in!
How to use our melts?
Our melts come in all shapes and sizes, simply snap your bars to the desired size (or for our smaller melts pop them in whole) place them in the dish of your wax warmer, light a tea light underneath and wait for your space to fill with your favourite fragrances.
We recommend using both electric & tea light burners, but only using 4 hour tea lights due to prevent any overheating.
How long do they last?
A difficult question to answer and totally dependant on which burner you use and how many segments (and their size) you choose to burn at any one time. Naturally due to the lower temperature of an electric burner, scents tend to last longer.
However each one of our products is fragrances with the legal maximum percentage of oils and are packed full of your favourite scents to help fragrance your home.
How to clean your burner?
We use the Mrs Hinch method over at Olive & Jeffrey and until we stumbled across her clever had this is an area we always struggled with too!
Simply pop a tea light in under your burner for 20-30 seconds (or switch your electric burner on) carefully pop your finger on the top of the hard wax and slide out when the burner has heated enough to release the melt. A small amount of melted wax may be left over in your burner which we wipe out with a cotton pad or kitchen role and you are ready to start again!
**Once your melt has lost its fragrance please remove this from your burner before adding any further segments, this will only dilute the next melt you add**
How to store?
This is down to personal preference, i know a lot of people prefer to use a sealed jar or container locking in all that smelly goodness, others use baskets. Our melts are individually packaged so whichever way your choose to store them is down to you providing the area is dry and cool.
